The Ayodhya verdict - Thoughts of an insane Indian

The Ayodhya verdict is out and the various religious leaders, politicians and the common people are busy interpreting it. Many seemed agitated and many others just took it in their stride. The rest gave a damn. I being insane, somehow find this judgment quite strange and in fact a bit idiotic to be honest, especially coming from the judges of a high court. In order to sarcastically review this judgment as a common Indian, I would try and simulate the thoughts of the four most important parties involved. So here we go...

1. A hard-line Hindu : God damn it...we should have had all the land. I don't understand how the court can do this to us? 1/3rd land to those Muslims? ...is the court crazy?...does it expect us to allow Muslims to the holy site of Ram janmabhoomi..and pray alongside them ??...if yes..then the court can go to hell, for we are not going to allow that...
Errrr..maybe its not that bad..at least for now...We have at least achieved moral victory over the Muslims..we get 2/3 rd ..ha ha ha ...let us build a grand temple there to show it to the Muslims how powerful lord Rama is...
After all the land belongs to us...my grandfather told me that some invader named Babur constructed the Babri mosque after desecrating and demolishing the existing Hindu temple...so the temple must be constructed at all costs right there...i just don't care...it was our land anyways some 500 years ago...we want it back now....and moreover Lord Rama exists only in Ayodhya...so it is paramount that the temple be constructed there only..

2. A hard-line Muslim : This is just so unfair. First the Hindus demolish our mosque and now they want to build a grand temple over there to mock us ... and just 1/3 rd of land to us ?? ..is the court doing some kind of charity here?...this is just not done...We want the whole land for us..the mosque shall be rebuilt...else Allah will punish us all...so what if Babur built a mosque there on top of ruins of a temple...he did no wrong...the land was in ruins and nobody had any problem with the mosque...then why now is it a big issue?...To add to this, the court expects us to pray alongside Hindus...are the judges insane ?? ... how can a devout Muslim accept the holy land to be desecrated by the lowly Hindus?...our Allah is the one and only god..we cannot share our holy land with infidels...this is what the holy Quran tells us...the court order can go to hell..if we don't have the entire land back, then we would not be responsible for any future law and order problems...

3. Lord Rama /Allah / Jesus : I cant believe I created these morons...they are fighting over me by calling me different names...these jackasses feel that if they build a mosque or a temple at some place called Ayodhya...they would make me happy..how ridiculous...The dudes down there feel that I was born as a certain Mr.Rama there at Ayodhya...damn...They know about my birth more than I do ;) ... These morons keep dragging me into their trivial problems...enough is enough...I have given up on humans...I am going on a vacation to Andromeda (some beautiful angels there..hmmm)...I am outta here...

4. Me / The common (and insane?) IndianDuniya kahaan se kahaan pohonch gayee..aur yeh saale abhi bhi Ram aur Allah pe ladd rahe hain...I dont care whether there is a mosque, temple or church there at Ayodhya, for God is right inside me...I dont have to go to Ayodhya to pray..and honestly I give a damn...
The "awesome" judges of the esteemed high high court in their judgment claimed that they are convinced by the faith of Hindus that Lord Rama was indeed born there...holy shit..from when did Indian judiciary system started delivering verdict based on faith ?? ... The archeological society of India (ASI) said that it isn't clear at all whether Babur built the mosque by demolishing a Hindu temple or just built the mosque over the ruins of a temple. Moreover the ASI claimed that the ruins might not necessarily be that of a Hindu temple..It could well be of a Buddhist one...
Give these uncertainties, it was stupid of the court to deliver such a statement based on faith alone. If the court was so convinced that Rama was born there, then why did it not hand over the entire land to Hindus?...Alternatively if one takes into account the fact that the Indian constitution and Judiciary came into effect only in 1947 and at that time there was a mosque there at the site, the court could have also ruled completely in favor of the Muslims. Moreover, how far does one need to go back in the history to find the truth ? ... 500 years ?...1000 years?..tomorrow its quite possible that some other religious clan will claim ownership of the site by saying that they used to worship at the same site in Ayodhya some 2000 years ago..so will the court then give a piece of land to them too, since they have a super-strong faith?...I am sure this will set a bad precedence.

What also puzzles me is the fact that the disputed land has been divided between three parties !! ...why why ?? ..why not divide it between the Hindus and Muslims equally ? ... this is something which has perplexed me to an infinite extent...
I am also a bit wary of the potential volatile situation that could present itself if both Hindus and Muslims use the land to pray together side by side (given the existing mistrust )...just imagine a bomb exploding on the Hindu/Muslim side of the compound during a prayer..this is quite a possibility given our good friend Pakistan is always trying to destabilize our country...I guarantee that communal riots would break out after that incident because either side will suspect that it is a sabotage by the other side...Remember Godhra 2002 ? ..the train carrying Hindu volunteers caught fire and 58 people died...and the result - communal riots broke out later and over 2000 people lost their lives..so get the point?

Anyways...I as an Indian, don't care whether the land is given to Muslims or Hindus...99 % of Hindus and Muslims will still pray at their homes and not at Ayodhya...I.we have bigger issues at hand like poverty, unemployment, increasing population and illiteracy. So we rather concentrate on them than building mosques and temples to satisfy the political ambitions of our corrupt leaders...

I urge all my fellow countrymen to accept humanity as our religion for it doesn't need any land, mosques, temples or churches and I am sure beyond doubt that Lord Rama or Allah would in fact be pleased with us. I say let the disputed land be taken over by the government and let a hospital/school be constructed there. people might be reluctant to this idea as Ayodhya has always been reflective of their religious pride. In that case I suggest they kiss my a**, for the real pride would come when we make India a prosperous, developed and secular nation in the true sense..
