The Ayodhya verdict - Thoughts of an insane Indian

The Ayodhya verdict is out and the various religious leaders, politicians and the common people are busy interpreting it. Many seemed agitated and many others just took it in their stride. The rest gave a damn. I being insane, somehow find this judgment quite strange and in fact a bit idiotic to be honest, especially coming from the judges of a high court. In order to sarcastically review this judgment as a common Indian, I would try and simulate the thoughts of the four most important parties involved. So here we go...

1. A hard-line Hindu : God damn it...we should have had all the land. I don't understand how the court can do this to us? 1/3rd land to those Muslims? ...is the court crazy?...does it expect us to allow Muslims to the holy site of Ram janmabhoomi..and pray alongside them ??...if yes..then the court can go to hell, for we are not going to allow that...
Errrr..maybe its not that bad..at least for now...We have at least achieved moral victory over the Muslims..we get 2/3 rd ..ha ha ha ...let us build a grand temple there to show it to the Muslims how powerful lord Rama is...
After all the land belongs to us...my grandfather told me that some invader named Babur constructed the Babri mosque after desecrating and demolishing the existing Hindu temple...so the temple must be constructed at all costs right there...i just don't care...it was our land anyways some 500 years ago...we want it back now....and moreover Lord Rama exists only in Ayodhya...so it is paramount that the temple be constructed there only..

2. A hard-line Muslim : This is just so unfair. First the Hindus demolish our mosque and now they want to build a grand temple over there to mock us ... and just 1/3 rd of land to us ?? ..is the court doing some kind of charity here?...this is just not done...We want the whole land for us..the mosque shall be rebuilt...else Allah will punish us all...so what if Babur built a mosque there on top of ruins of a temple...he did no wrong...the land was in ruins and nobody had any problem with the mosque...then why now is it a big issue?...To add to this, the court expects us to pray alongside Hindus...are the judges insane ?? ... how can a devout Muslim accept the holy land to be desecrated by the lowly Hindus?...our Allah is the one and only god..we cannot share our holy land with infidels...this is what the holy Quran tells us...the court order can go to hell..if we don't have the entire land back, then we would not be responsible for any future law and order problems...

3. Lord Rama /Allah / Jesus : I cant believe I created these morons...they are fighting over me by calling me different names...these jackasses feel that if they build a mosque or a temple at some place called Ayodhya...they would make me happy..how ridiculous...The dudes down there feel that I was born as a certain Mr.Rama there at Ayodhya...damn...They know about my birth more than I do ;) ... These morons keep dragging me into their trivial problems...enough is enough...I have given up on humans...I am going on a vacation to Andromeda (some beautiful angels there..hmmm)...I am outta here...

4. Me / The common (and insane?) IndianDuniya kahaan se kahaan pohonch gayee..aur yeh saale abhi bhi Ram aur Allah pe ladd rahe hain...I dont care whether there is a mosque, temple or church there at Ayodhya, for God is right inside me...I dont have to go to Ayodhya to pray..and honestly I give a damn...
The "awesome" judges of the esteemed high high court in their judgment claimed that they are convinced by the faith of Hindus that Lord Rama was indeed born there...holy shit..from when did Indian judiciary system started delivering verdict based on faith ?? ... The archeological society of India (ASI) said that it isn't clear at all whether Babur built the mosque by demolishing a Hindu temple or just built the mosque over the ruins of a temple. Moreover the ASI claimed that the ruins might not necessarily be that of a Hindu temple..It could well be of a Buddhist one...
Give these uncertainties, it was stupid of the court to deliver such a statement based on faith alone. If the court was so convinced that Rama was born there, then why did it not hand over the entire land to Hindus?...Alternatively if one takes into account the fact that the Indian constitution and Judiciary came into effect only in 1947 and at that time there was a mosque there at the site, the court could have also ruled completely in favor of the Muslims. Moreover, how far does one need to go back in the history to find the truth ? ... 500 years ?...1000 years?..tomorrow its quite possible that some other religious clan will claim ownership of the site by saying that they used to worship at the same site in Ayodhya some 2000 years ago..so will the court then give a piece of land to them too, since they have a super-strong faith?...I am sure this will set a bad precedence.

What also puzzles me is the fact that the disputed land has been divided between three parties !! ...why why ?? ..why not divide it between the Hindus and Muslims equally ? ... this is something which has perplexed me to an infinite extent...
I am also a bit wary of the potential volatile situation that could present itself if both Hindus and Muslims use the land to pray together side by side (given the existing mistrust )...just imagine a bomb exploding on the Hindu/Muslim side of the compound during a prayer..this is quite a possibility given our good friend Pakistan is always trying to destabilize our country...I guarantee that communal riots would break out after that incident because either side will suspect that it is a sabotage by the other side...Remember Godhra 2002 ? ..the train carrying Hindu volunteers caught fire and 58 people died...and the result - communal riots broke out later and over 2000 people lost their lives..so get the point?

Anyways...I as an Indian, don't care whether the land is given to Muslims or Hindus...99 % of Hindus and Muslims will still pray at their homes and not at Ayodhya...I.we have bigger issues at hand like poverty, unemployment, increasing population and illiteracy. So we rather concentrate on them than building mosques and temples to satisfy the political ambitions of our corrupt leaders...

I urge all my fellow countrymen to accept humanity as our religion for it doesn't need any land, mosques, temples or churches and I am sure beyond doubt that Lord Rama or Allah would in fact be pleased with us. I say let the disputed land be taken over by the government and let a hospital/school be constructed there. people might be reluctant to this idea as Ayodhya has always been reflective of their religious pride. In that case I suggest they kiss my a**, for the real pride would come when we make India a prosperous, developed and secular nation in the true sense..

A badly wriiten post on religion, religious rules and all that...

Its quite hard to quit blogging isn't it ? Its a bit like smoking ( grass maybe? ). Once addicted, there is usually no looking back. Like a rehabilitated drug addict who just pounces on that one last opportunity to snort some cocaine, here I am...back again in this virtual world. By the way, I had "almost" given up blogging until I had this discussion with one of my friends here a few days back which made me think a bit about the influence of social rules and regulations stemming from various Religions on the present day modern man.

My good friend (Lets call him Mr.X) is the perfect example of a "modern day ignorant scientist". I know the phrase sounds like an oxymoron but that is the way it is with Mr.X. Like in the case of Dr.Jekyll and Mr.Hyde, our beloved Mr.X works on the cutting edge problems of Astrophysics in the morning and transforms into a religious guy by the evening. He is a devout follower of the Arya Samaj which is a social organization with a set of rules set by one Mr.Dayanand Saraswati in the 1870s to help people lead a more purposeful life. Mr.Saraswati also laid down a certain theory as to how God can be attained in his framework based on the ancient Vedas. Mr.X is also quite critical of other religions (especially Islam) and believes that there is nothing holy about the Quran and all it preaches is violence. Mr.X strongly believes that playing or watching movies is for the mortals and hence should be minimized as it is a hurdle in the path of attainment of God. He also shows his "respect" towards girls by not looking into their eyes directly as it is "against the rules of Arya Samaj" as this could ignite testosterone production which is like a poison for a sage like him.  So far so good. But what surprises me is the attitude the guy has towards life in general. He is the eternally depressed guy in the institute, almost always sick and behaving as if he is burdened by the entire weight of mankind. Then there is another guy Mr.Y who happens to be a Muslim who once went to Mr.X's room enraged and threatened to tear the book by Mr.Dayanand Saraswati which had inflammatory remarks about Islam.  I remember once Mr.X having a debate with me on this topic and suddenly asking me "Why the hell do you think all the terrorists in the world are Muslims??". Given the plethora of so called Religions/social constructs/set of rules etc, there is bound to be conflict of interest.

But all this happening in one of the premier scientific institutes of our country in this age. Should we be ashamed? Most definitely YES!! I pondered over this sensitive issue and feel that we as humans have failed to live up to our intelligence in this regard. The reason behind this failure can be largely attributed to the very existence of Religions. I know I am kicking a sacred cow here but just cant help doing it. If one looks back into the history, it doesn't require the intelligence of Einstein to infer that Religions were put forward to create and maintain order in the society, to unify large groups who were previously fighting each other and in a certain sense create a "virtual hierarchy" withing the unified group with a religious head to control and decide the group's fate. One could as well interpret this as politically motivated move to exercise "control" over others and hence feel powerful which is a very natural human instinct i.e to control other humans.  The examples are literally infinite in this case. The Vatican church decides the fate of all of Christianity. Similarly the Islamic clerics decide what the Muslims should/shouldn't do and not to forget the case of our very own Mr.X whose entire life is in dictated by the laws of Arya Samaj. Now the big question is why the hell some body else decide how we lead our lives ?? maybe we like it that way. We humans are like herd of sheep who always want a protective Daddy figure. OK agreed. But then why the hell are people from different Religions fighting against each other ?? It is similar to two kids fighting over whose Daddy is the greatest !! The Muslims say their Daddy is the best and the Hindus say theirs is the best. So much for our intelligence.

What has Religion given us? I would say a lot if one interprets it using one's brain else one would end up like Mr.X who is still a virgin but has been fucked by Religion ever since he was born! On a lighter note, I remember Mr.X telling me how "respectfully" he looks at girls. He does actually "respect" the girls around him. I know it because girls feel quite "safe" around him. Now I personally would feel very insulted if I came to know that girls around me feel "safe". I would feel absolutely impotent and my role in the chain of human evolution would be irrelevant. If people like Mr.X are depressed, its not because they are burdened by real problems but because they have forced themselves to tread the path set by someone else. Their brains have shrunk to the size of their testicles and they have virtually castrated themselves in order to attain God. They have done so because their religion states that its the only possible way to attain enlightenment. Now I am certain that God and enlightenment can be achieved by leading a life serving the humanity. God wouldn't hate me if I saw movies. God would be surely happy if I play. God wouldn't curse the girls around me who are wearing jeans. God would definitely want the human race to propagate and hence would surely encourage me to look at a girl in a romantic "not so" safe manner. So what would make God sad? just one word- Inhumanity. Forcing oneself to do something is inhuman, forcing someone else is also inhuman, cheating is inhuman, fighting over the name of God and associating him with any particular Religion is the worst and most stupid form of inhumanity.

I think we as humans can do away with the very concept of these Religions. Religion isn't universal but the concept of God is. Its very important to make this distinction. If God exists in this universe, then he would be more than happy if he is left alone and not dragged into our day to day conflicts. While we are busy fighting over him and formulating these so called different Religions, we have buried the basic tenets of Humanity, which I believe is the only concept which truly deserves to be called a "Religion". A Religion without any written rules, for Humanity is quite instinctive. Hope we rediscover it before it is too late.

When you scratch your neighbor's ass.....

Well .. since I want this post to be a "kick-ass" one, I am choosing to kick our own ass this time. Ahem ! ...today I will vent my views (read frustration) regarding the moronic and senseless Indo-Pak relationship and how much we have fucked ourselves because of it. To fast forward through the last 63 years of history, Pakistan was created along with India in 1947, geographically is next to India, has already fought two wars against India and is a real pain in everybody's ass (yeah..including its own !!). Well I am writing this post not to tell you people about what transpired between India and Pakistan in those sweet 63 years. All you guys know it and its very boring. Out of the blue, two things come to my mind right away.

1) Why is India not hanging Afzal Guru and Azmal Kasab immediately (If you are an Indian, above 18 years of age and don't know who he is, I suggest you pack your bags and go to Pakistan and get trained there .. yeah you deserve that) ??.

2) Why is India not using its air force to destroy the terrorist camps operating in POK (Pakistan occupied Kashmir) with immediate effect ??.

Now some social activists will say Kasab shouldn't be hanged and the law should take its course and blah blah blah. Well, I feel the course of law in our country is painfully slow and as far as Kasab is concerned, how about we fuck the law and just hang him. Well...you may argue that he is just one guy. Why should we as a "great" nation be so hell-bent on hanging him as that wouldn't obviously be a compensation for the lives lost in the 26/11 Mumbai attacks. That is not the point as I sincerely feel we as a country lack the "intent" to send a strong message to the outside world that we mean business. Seems like all are welcome to screw us. Its like "We have the ability to tolerate so please screw us" . Honestly speaking, we dont just value our lives. We feel we are dispensable and cheap. Indians dying in terrorist attacks are normal. If they don't die, its boring and abnormal. I still remember, 1998, when The US embassy was bombed in Kenya and few American citizens died. In a matter of days US cruise missiles bombed militant targets in Afghanistan and Sudan. US now as you all know is battling militants in Afghanistan, Pakistan, Iraq and host of other covert operations in and the middle east (US is driven by selfishness also but...anyways). The point here is the show of "intent" by the US to aggressively protect its citizens from perceived threats and I strongly feel that India should also flex its muscle in this context.

Anyways, coming back to our story, I can understand why India protected its privates during the 1993-1996 period and acted like Pak's bitch. My crazy theory goes that our then handsome prime minister Mr.P.V Narsimha Rao got infatuated by the beauty of Benazir Bhutto (Pak's PM) and as a result couldn't discuss terrorism seriously with her. Whatever be the reason, Pak was screwing us (it still is) and as I always like to mention, we as a country enjoy being raped (I say in this case the rape is by consent). Kargil happened, then Kandahar happened, Parliament was attacked, trains were blown up in Mumbai, 26/11 followed and now my place, Pune, also suffered a terrorist attack (and our political leaders and the military are still recharging their balls). Where the hell is the intent to protect?? Well, I do follow a lot of strategic studies by scholars and I feel that India is outright scared. Its scared because it feels any military action on its part would lead to a full-fledged war and considering the fact that Pak has a low nuclear threshold, it could be a nuclear disaster.
But my dear Prime minister, let me remind you that POK is not PAK, you are still a male (don't consider me a male chauvinist here..its just a fact I am stating....btw...I feel Indira Gandhi had more testosterone than any male PMs India has had ;)), and India can and in my opinion should blast the terrorist camps operating there. India needn't bow to the hypocritical US pressure every time and retreat back to its cave and wait for another terror attack , come out of the cave, roar and again go back inside (and this cycle repeats all the time as you know). I keep getting reminded of a statement by my friend who says that "How can a nation, whose father is Gandhi and whose mother is a cow (we worship cows as our mothers remember...?) ever show aggressive intent??". In reality Pak can never afford a full scale war with India (especially a conventional one). You can Google about the relative military and nuclear strengths and can see why this is so. India is just getting nuclear blackmailed by Pak and nothing else. Its an insult to the soldiers who laid their lives trying to battle against terrorists, when we act like pussies and do nothing. The leadership in both the countries have discussed this issue innumerable times in the past but nothing just seems to be working out. Every time the countries talk, there is a terrorist attack or a breach of trust by Pakistan and we just accept it (I told you we are good whores). The recent Indo-Pak dialogue few days back was nothing short of a circus where the two countries acted like ex lovers. Nothing came out of it, but they committed to stay in "touch" (cant get funnier than this). I dont know about India but Pak is touching all the wrong private areas of our country and should be dealt with a Iron hand (for smarter people...please read this as "Iron rod" and hopefully you know what I mean).

India, unfortunately is surrounded by troublesome countries. Sri Lanka has LTTE, Pakistan is a rogue, China is hostile and unfriendly, Bangladesh also has militancy and then there is the immigration problem. Myanmar(Burma) is eternally fucked. Sounds very depressing. But I hope and have the confidence that India has the wherewithal to rise above all these issues and become a superpower in the true sense in the future.

But in order to do that, It should start to feel like one and certainly act like one. Finally as you all are aware that when there is a itch, it shouldn't be scratched. That would only make it worse and it would itch even more.

So the punchline of this entire post is - "We shouldn't be scratching our neighbor's ass when it itches, instead we should be spanking it...really hard..."

The Satans of Maharashtra

Well usually there is just one Satan, the only father of evil. But in the case of Maharashtra, there are two !!..yeah I am talking about none other than Mr.Bala Saheb Thackeray and one Mr.Raj Thackeray. The past few months/years have been quite disturbing as Raj, chief of Maharashtra Navnirman Sena (MNS) has been venting his ire on the north Indians living in the state. The poor north Indians have to face discrimination, humiliation, insecurity and last but not the least, a sense of hatred. Well it is obvious that this is being done from a completely political viewpoint and the poor Maharashtrians are being made the guinea pigs of this political experiment. I sometimes wonder the British rule in India did more good than now Indians ruling themselves. At least the Indians seemed united in the 1940s. As a formality, lets look at political histories of both these great men (The Thackerays or "the thugs" ) briefly.

1) Raj Thackeray : started his political career as a youth-wing leader in the Shiv Sena, Bala Thackeray's (his uncle’s) party. He steadily rose up the ranks with his charisma and was seen as the number two in the party. Raj’s decline in the Shiv Sena started in the 90s due to his alleged involvement in the Ramesh Kinny murder case (seen as a political murder). Always seen as a firebrand speaker. However, recently it seems, he has bit more than he could chew. His recent outbursts against migrants from Uttar Pradesh (UP) and Bihar are totally unconstitutional and uncalled for. Has made impressive strides as far as making a political niche for himself at least regionally. Was arrested yesterday, but again released on bail hours later(cant get funnier than this). He anyways would continue to hold fiery speeches and incite (indirectly of course) violence against the north Indians because there are a good number of in Maharashtra who buy his idiotic "Marathi Manoos" propaganda.

2) Bala Saheb Thackeray : The founder and supremo of Shiv Sena. The party is so pro-Hindu that even I get scared looking at its ideologies (I am a Hindu btw). Was a cartoonist in his early1950s in "Free press journal" in Mumbai. I wish he would have just continued being a cartoonist but as we know, the man had bigger goals and achieved it by being one of the biggest and disgusting cartoons himself. A strong proponent of "Maharashtra is for Maharashtrians" ideology and has strong anti-Muslim feelings. In 2002, Thackeray issued a call to form Hindu suicide squads to counter alleged Muslim violence(woww !! ..awesome ideas dude). To quote him from the 1980s,

"They [Muslims] are spreading like a cancer and should be operated on like a cancer. The... country should be saved from the Muslims and the police should support them [Hindu Maha Sangh] in their struggle just like the police in Punjab were sympathetic to the Khalistanis."
The man was also a great admirer of Adolf Hitler (supposedly the kindest man the planet has ever seen, even Jesus would feel shy).

Now that we are done knowing our beloved Satans (read Inglorious bastards), we need to ponder for one second. Why the hell are we so gullible ?? The Thackerays are like the mass rapists of common people and we are so used to getting raped that some of us even have turned into whores and started to enjoy it (else how do people like the Thackerays are still active in politics and also manage to get the votes). In recent times Raj's party started to get more attention compared to the Shiv Sena. Needless to say, Bal Thackeray couldn't digest it well. The oldie realized that his shriveled balls can still pump some testosterone and equipped with that, he openly criticized(read humiliated) icons like Amitabh Bacchan and Sachin Tendulkar (these innocent souls were just being patriotic).
When Mumbai was held hostage in the 26/11 attacks, the NSG commandos involved in the clean up and rescue operations were from all over the country including north India. What do you say to that Mr.Thackerays? Where were the Shiv Sainiks when Mumbai was drowning in the floods?? Well I suppose that was not a big issue. A bigger issue is how to stop Valentine's day each year!!. Well it doesn't take Sigmund Freud to conjecture that the majority of Shiv Sainiks seem to be sexually frustrated, always think with their dicks (with a bigger dick at the helm of course) and brains of the size of their balls. They say they are helping the Marathi Manoos. May be...I don't know for sure. But they surely are destroying the fabric and concept of "One India". I consider people like the Thackerays a bigger threat to the national security than the terrorist groups.

I sincerely hope good sense would prevail and we get to have politicians and leaders with a larger global vision. Need to make people aware so that people like the Thackerays don't get a stronghold in the political structure of our country. Its a long road ahead and a road full of obstacles and there will be blood too.

But I say its a risk worth taking before its too late....

When the devil warms up

Who am I ? ...well who cares actually as long as you have as much idle time as I have to read this shitty (but awesome) blog. For a start, consider my name as Xaero, a fictional character. Now since this is my first post, I would lay down certain ground rules for myself as well as all you guys and gals out there who wish to enter my world of chaos. The rules are as follows:

1) I will be totally unapologetic.
2) I will brash.
3) Sometimes rude too
4) Will use offensive language freely as I consider it my birthright and I redefine cheapness (so all you class people and pussies out there, get a blanket and go to bed as daddy is a badass tonight).
5) Will be ruthless too (Xaero is ;)).
6) All you guys/gals out there are free to comment on my posts but always remember rule 1.

And finally the standard disclaimer:

"All characters/places/organizations/countries appearing in this blog are real (except me). Any resemblance to real persons, living or dead, is purely intentional. If anybody/any organization/any country feels offended, he/she/they can all kiss my sweet a** "

The narration on any topic/post wouldn't necessarily be linear/coherent (for I am a big fan of Quentin Tarantino) and I shall be venting my views/frustration on the events/topics that I feel deserve attention..

So now that you have got a taste of things to come, stay tuned .....
